Blowing my mind
One word. WOW!
The Roberto Cavalli show was mind boggling amazing
Of course i didn't actually go, because I'm a stingy college student but in mind i was there.
From the boho long dresses to the animal snakeskin the whole thing reminded me of something that should be in a dessert.
I specifically liked the taupe colours and icy greys.
It was something different and an amazing way to celebrate his anniversary.
I take my hat off to you sir

I need this potion in my life
My oily lids are too much for me these days.
I literally can not wear eyeshadow for long and nothing seems to help it
I thought it wouldn't have to come to this but i think its time
It better be worth the money or im really goign to regret not being able to eat for a week (cos if you haven't read previously i'm as broke as a bank during the depression)
Mad Marc
Marc Jacobs definitely brought back the sweetsy 20s mixed with some sultry 60s to New York
His collection reminded me of a series of Mad Men with the fitted waists and slime line suits.
The deep reds and baby pinks worked well together.
I doubt that i would be ever able to afford it but I am soo in love with the black one shouldered dress. The material of it adds texture to the rest of the outfit and the big skirt contrasts to the fitted top of the dress.
If only i had somewhere to wear it. (sad face)
I'm too sexy for my meat?
Oh god please do not let this be the new fashion cos i dont thnk i could handle it
We first saw it on Gaga at the VMAS but not Jeremy Scott has followed suit and unveiled his "meat"dress at his recent fashion show.
I would be more willing to wear the fake meat dress seen at the Jeremy Scott show
Please lets not go any further with this look
PETA is gunna be all over this like a rash

Girl crush of the moment: Dree Hemingway
The up and coming model of the moment Dree Hemingway has the style that every young girl should envy.
She is the new face of Paco Rabanne 1 million for women (just in case you recognised her)
However, the 22 year old is not just known for her stunning looks but also for being the great-granddaughter of writer Ernest Hemingway.
The girl has looks, style and looking at her family most likely the brains as well.
Everything to be jealous of.

Girl Crush : Tali Lennox
Everything screams out model
Tali Lennox is beyond hot and has now the pleasure to be crowned my new found style crush
The 17 year old Tali is daughter to Eurythmics lead singer Anne Lennox
Just like mum, she follows in suit with her different outlet on style
And it works for her
The model by day and fashionista by night, gives her own quirky mix on punk/glam rock style
Although her dress sense at night seems beyond her years she does dress down almost to a tee.
She too me is one to watch out for as she will be popping up all over magazines as best dressed.
Especially watch out for her sister Lola who is also drop dead gorgeous.
Must be in the genes
Another one for the books
I know i have too much from Topshop already but i do love their dresses
You don't understand how nice this dress looks with a tan
I am thinking about buying this tomorrow for a birthday party i am going to on Friday
I would pair it with my black boot wedges from New Look
Want it, need it, going to have it

To shave or not to shave? That is the question
Should i or should i not shave one side of my hair!
I thought i would throw it out there for public discussion
PLEASE HELP AND ANSWER!
We're not growing up pal we're growing side ways
I know, i know i am sad but i have always been fascinated by the glam rock/punk era of the 70s and late 80s.
SOOOOO, this brings me onto why i am super excited for the new tv series based on the movie This is England.
The 4 part drama is like my wet dream
The 4 part drama is like my wet dream
The Doc Martens, the polos, the check shirts.
I LOVE IT ALL
Ok ok to be fair i think i would probably be more like LOLs sister (girl with pink hair) rather than Smell (girl wearing the pink and purple skirt)
It starts on Monday or Tuesday i'm not to sure and its like at 10pm
I AM SOOOO EXCITED
Stay tuned to hear me babble on about it all
Friday, 3 September 2010
I finally did it and went dark.
I know i was trying to go lighter and all but i got so fed up of it
So i thought i might as well try and go back to my original color
Which is by the way a very dark brown.
I think it makes my eyes pop a little bit more
Thoughts people?
Should i have stayed light or is the dark side always better?
Dear God, I have sinned......................again
This tee is from Urban Outfitters and is by Truly Madly Deeply
And for the steeping price (well for a college student like myself) of £28 i wouldn't buy it
I think i could probably make it myself.
Rose Jerez O'Flaherty a fashion designer?
Watch this space, but don't have high hopes
I wish......
Although i know i am not the only one who of course looks to celebs to see style tips and new trends, i am on the other hand the only one who would give my arm, leg and first born child to have their wardrobes (you can count me on my first born. I stand by that for sure)
Those i list below give something different to me fashion wise.
Some dress by the book and some dress by their own books.
I think the wider range of styles allows young women (and men) to pick and choose what they want to dress like.
I believe that alll these beautiful show this.
I don't think i could compare any of their styles and say that they are similar or exactly the same.
But on the plus isn't that a good thing ?
A) Daisy Lowe in a Dolce and Gabbana body B) Jameela Jamil looking shabby chic C) Peaches Geldof does a mix of glam rock and Boho D) Olivia Palermo does her timeless look E) Dree Hemingway mixes up her usual boyish look with a hint of glitter bandeau F) I WANT MARY KATE OLSENS HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! G) Whitney Port looks casual but dressy (if that's possible) H) Lea Michele in ASOS magazine (this picture is on my wall. Watch out for a post on my wall) I) My favourite Alexa Chung looking every inch adorable

A few steps to get a good hair day
To kick it off i bought the Charles Worthington leave in shampoo.
This product i am not so crazy about, it left lumps of the stuff in my hair.
On the plus side it is easy to use, you just have to wash your hair as normal (obviously not using a conditioner) and then when the hair is wet you comb your hair through with the product
I found that it made my hair really hard but it did feel really amazing after it.
Next off is this dry shampoo by Batiste.
I am in love with this product. I have been looking for a good dry shampoo for a while now.
I started off using the Charles Worthington dry shampoo but didn't like it and found it too expensive.
So this product ticks all the boxes that the other product didn't so i am happy about that.
And to complete your step to an amazing hair day is this Bumble and Bumble which i love.
My mum bought this back from New York for me aggggges ago but i am still using it.
Be warned though in the US it is far more cheaper than it is in London.
My mum bought it in a chemist for something silly like $7 and it costs something like £22 over here.
It gives nice waves to the hair and it just looks so effortless.
But ill give you a quick tip, you can make yourown version of this product.
Bumble and Bumble contains sea salt and is meant to give the effect to your hair that you have been dipping it in the sea.
SOOOOO my tip is to use normal sea salt which you can buy at the supermarket and mix it with normal tap water. It gives the same effect.
